WARSAW, Poland - An appeals court rejected today a 78-year-old Polish man's
appeal against his conviction and eight-year prison sentence for helping kill
Jews in a World War II death camp.

Henryk Mania, from the northwestern Polish city of Szczecin, was convicted last
July of participating in acts of genocide at the Chelmno camp between December
8, 1941, and April 7, 1943.
