"US. The Estée Lauder Companies presented a selection of novelties,
across all its brands, at the recent TFWA World Exhibition in
Cannes.
A key highlight was a preview of the new travel retail exclusive
fragrance from the flagship Lauder brand, called Brasil Dream.
The scent will be the company’s fourth such exclusive offering,
following on from this year’s Bali Dream, and predecessors Pleasures
Exotic (2004) and Emerald Dream (2007).
As the fragrance name suggests, this latest exclusive concept was
inspired by Brazil. The advertising strap-line is: “Go where it's
warm, exciting and full of life”.
The scent is designed to evoke the afterglow of the Brazilian sun.
It opens on sultry, fruity, floral notes of guava, pineapple, orange
blossom and neroli.
The heart blends night-blooming jasmine and Gardenia Brazil
NaturePrint, enhanced by lemon and bergamot. The base features
patchouli, sandalwood and coconut milk.
Brasil Dream will be available as a 50ml edp spray, and a 2 x 50ml
duo set, presented in a sleeve featuring the model shot.
The launch will be supported by a limited-edition gwp of a golden-
brown satin bag, embellished with hand-sewn sequins.
Lastly, Lauder has created a Brasil Dream Eye and Lip Color Palette,
packaged in orange tones with a tile-like pattern on the cover,
which matches the fragrance bottle.
The palette includes four Pure Color Crystal Lipsticks, two Pure
Color Long Lasting Lipsticks, four Pure Color Eye Shadows and two
double-ended lip/eye applicators."
