Love, Marriage and Homosexuals

Should gay marriages be legel thorough out the world?
The church didn't recongize marriages between
hetrosexuals until the 12th century. Back then
marriage wasn't because two people loved each other it
was more for dowry and business patnerships. The
mergeing of family lines to become biger, better and
more well off.
Today people in these same countries get marraied out
of love. Homosexuals can love each other, so why can't
they get married as well. There are gay couple that
have known each other for years, and yet straight
couple can met and in a matter of hours or a few days
(depending on the conntry) hetrosexual couple can be
married. I didn't ask to be lesbian, but I am, and
it's not fair that I can not marry the person whom I
love.

The paper? No, but the benfits of legal status with my partner is important. That
she can make descions on my behalf when I am ill. Or knowing that if I died she
may claim my estate without any trouble. Yes those things are important and
granted hertosexuals without trouble.

There is better situation for gay couples in BENELUX countries, then in Poland
I think. I do not know how old are you but, I think that next generations of
gay couples will achieve marriage possibility with conditions close to equal
compared to hetero couples.

Should any discrimination be illegal throughout the world?

I think legalization of gay relationships is the part of a more global fight
against the discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation. I'm not naive, in
Poland and in many other conservative countries should change a generation before
our claims would be heard.
