Leniwe popołudnie przed komputerem zrodziło w mojej głowie pomysł nowej
forumowej zabawy. Oto jej reguły: wklejamy fragmenty trzech recenzji jakiejś
płyty, wycinając tytuły, nazwy, bądź nazwiska, które w wyraźny sposób
zdradzałyby o jaką płytę i zespół chodzi. Reszta musi odgadnąć tytuł albumu.
Zwycięzca wymyśla następną zagadkę. Apeluję o nieposiłkowanie się google'em :)
Ja zaczynam.
Pierwszy fragment:
Imagine there’s a party. And there’s a bunch of teenagers there. And they’re
dancing to the latest “dance music.” And it’s the most monotonous, annoying
thing you’ve ever heard in your life. Just a repetitive “THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!”
It’s annoying as hell. You know this is music for zombies. But you also know
it’s the only music these people have ever heard.
But then the D.J. puts the <zespół> <album> in the CD player. And he plays
the entire thing, from start to finish. The teenagers can’t believe what
they’re hearing. All these complex rhythms. All these weird arrangements. All
this driving musical force that propels each song with an energetic frenzy
from start to finish.
For the first time in their lives, these teenagers are hearing what real music
sounds like.
They are listening to what is, by far, the best <zespół> album ever released.
This music is intelligent dance music.
This is dance music for people who think they hate dance music.
This is <zespół> music for people who think they hate <zespół>.
This is totally awesome.
Drugi:
Throughout their first four albums, <zespół> were always adventurous and
willing to change musical directions. What I have heard of their first album
is more straight-forward, and almost punk-like, whereas, the third album,
<inny album zespołu>, is an energetic, funky, yet intelligent album. <inny
album zespołu> also benefits from the immaculate production techniques of
<producent>, and the first album doesn't feature the eccentric genius.
<album>, in my eyes, is a flawless fusion of the styles of the first and third
albums. While the musicianship is, for the most part, relatively simple, it is
impossible not to tap your foot or bob your head up and down like a raving
lunatic while listening to this album.
Trzeci:
There's always debate (among those who care) as to which record best captured
the <zespół> sound. Well, my vote's with this one. It's tight, tense and
nervous, but without going over the top on any element- a good balance in
other words. Really it's a concept album about modern livin'. The songs may be
a bit tongue-in-cheek, but it's pretty easy to tell what they're about.
