THE HONEY SEASON
straight from the hive

The industrious Buzz Dance Theatre will be returning to Perth in October
from their inaugural national tour. Whilst on tour the Buzz team members are
busy as bees developing their choreographic and creative skills in
preparation for studio performances of new contemporary short works for The
Honey Season.

The Buzz dancers will be taking a diversion from their usual program of
performance and workshop activities for children and young people to present
a program of short works for general audiences.

Straight from the hive, these cutting-edge new works will be created and
performed by Bridget Fiske, Joseph Lau, Katrina Lazaroff, Rachel Usher, and
queen bee Paige Gordon (Artistic Director). Each has extensive experience in
presenting their own choreographic pieces stemming from their highly
qualified dance backgrounds.

Special guests in the Honey Season include Jeremy Hicks (music), Tim Rodgers
(West Australian Ballet), Adrian Lowe, and Claire Pannell, the General
Manager of Buzz Dance Theatre will also be getting in on the act!

Buzz Dance Theatre is pleased to announce the return of its
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CONTEMPORARY
DANCE CLASSES FOR ADULTS

Perfect for teachers' PD!

Classes are lead by professional Buzz Dance Theatre artists and are based on
contemporary technique. The possibilities of rhythm, strength, coordination
and movement potential of the body will be explored. Classes are open to
those who want to reignite inspiration for their own teaching or for those
who just want to move all over again.

10 weeks commencing 14 Oct 2003
Tuesdays 6 - 7.30 pm
King Street Arts Centre

Cost $120 (Thatšs $12 per class, pay at first class)
or $15 per class on a casual basis.
