Financial Systems Manager

Currently for our client, who is US corporation providing services in the field of risk management, insurance, consulting and outsourcing in the area of human capital management, we are looking for Financial Systems Manager.
Job specification:
• Insuring knowledge transition from project to internal support
• Supporting end users for GL, EX, AP and AM to insure prompt delivery of financials
• Assisting with gathering financial requirements and preparing documentation
• Conducting system testing and provide documentation of results
• Developing queries for end users
• Troubleshooting problems and follow thru to resolution
• Providing guidance and training to Users regarding system use and processing
• Reconciling data for conversion and production interfaces
• Investigating Security issues and provide guidance for new requests
• Managing effectively support members Communicate, issues, changes and solutions within team and user base
• Providing leadership and guidance to support members
• Change Management over-site and guardian of financial systems
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or MIS is required and the equivalent financial systems integration and project management experience
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft GL, AP, AM, and EX processing and ability to create, modify and copy queries.
• Experience in Financial roles
• Expertise in finance systems, configuration, and IT support
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principle, financial reporting and financial statement preparation/analysis
• Effective leadership skills in being flexible, creative, team-oriented and process-driven
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the corporation as well as with outside vendors
• Knowledge of spreadsheet applications and databases
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Access
