4 Jewish families move into Arab neighborhood of Abu Dis
By Arnon Regular and Jonathan Lis, Haaretz Correspondents

Four families of settlers moved into two homes in the Arab East Jerusalem
neighborhood of Abu Dis overnight Sunday.
Some 100 settlers and members of the Ateret Cohanim yeshiva, which is located
in the Old City and has long been active in acquiring properties in the Old
City and East Jerusalem for Jews, escorted the families to the houses.

The setters were equipped with generators and other personal items. The Ateret
Cohanim representatives informed the police that they planned enter the houses
just before the entourage arrived at the compound and a large number of police
officers were immediately dispatched to secure the settlers.
