The guy who runs this building I'm in. Emergency management. He's responsible for everything. His mother was trapped in St. Bernard nursing home and every day she called him and said. Are you coming. Son? Is somebody coming? And he said yeah. Mama. Somebody's coming to get you.. Somebody's coming to get you on Tuesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Wednesday. Somebody's coming to get you on Thursday. Somebody's coming to get you on Friday. And she drowned Friday night. And she drowned Friday night. Nobody's coming to get us. Nobody's coming to get us. The Secretary has promised. Everybody's promised. They've had press conferences. I'm sick of the press conferences. For god's sakes, just shut up and send us somebody.

Rycerzu. Dlaczego USA prosza o pomoc UE? Prosza o dostawy wody!

Wizyta Busha została zaaranżowana jak wizyty komunistycznych oficjeli. Zjechały sie słuzby na miejsce, a po wyjezdzie Busha - rozjechały.

W czasie wizyty Busha zakazano lotow helikopterow, blokujac akcje ratowniczą.

Szef FEMA został wylany z poprzedniej pracy.

Gwardzisci grali w karty, gdy ludzie umierali czekając na pomoc.

Burmistrz Chicago zszokowany, bo agendy federalne odmówiły przyjęcia jego pomocy.

Sean Penn nazwał postepowanie rzadu Busha "criminal negligence"
        Pierce Brosnan tez zjechał Busia.

        Pierce Brosnan:
"This man called President Bush has a lot to answer for," the former James Bond actor told reporters Saturday. "I don't know if this man is really taking care of America. This government has been shameful."

Oscar-winning Hollywood actor Sean Penn, who has been assisting rescue efforts in New Orleans, said the US government did not "seem to be inclined to help".

"We were pulling drowning people out of the water, it's the ultimate distress and human suffering ... dead bodies," he told GMTV.

Penn said he had spent nine hours on Monday searching the water for people and during all that time he saw just three boats carrying US officials.

"There are people that are dying right now and I mean babies and old people and everybody in between - they're dying. There are people dying and (the US government are) not putting the boats in the water, I think that's criminal negligence. I don't think anybody ever anticipated the criminal negligence of the Bush administration in this situation."
        ..
"I couldn't describe how bad the authorities were. Just little things like taking photographs of us, as we are standing on the roof waving for help, for their own little snapshot albums.
"At one point, there were a load of girls on the roof of the hotel saying 'Can you help us?' and the policemen said 'Show us what you've got' and made signs for them to lift their T-shirts. When the girls refused, they said 'Fine' and motored off down the road in their boat."

A British tourist stranded for five days with his wife and seven-year-old son in a New Orleans hotel has called the US relief operation a "shambles".

Ged Scott, 36, of Liverpool, told BBC News that hotel staff and guests had received no help from the authorities.

Police officers had taken "souvenir" photographs of stranded people begging for help, he added.

German correspondent shocked about staged Biloxi events

The "tagesschau" is the most popular German news program by far, aired at 8 p.m. The German US correspondents, usually very careful in criticizing the US government, were outraged.

Christina Adelhardt was in Biloxi the whole day. She said she couldn't believe what she saw: Rescue teams, teams for searching bodies and their vehicles showed up, but without being necessary at all - the area was vacated since days.

She said: I'm shocked about the amount of destruction caused by Katrina. But the choreographed events I've seen here today shocked me the same, if not more.
