The pro-Israeli academic Gestapo is coming out of the woodworks. We were
privy, in previous years, to a phalange of pro-Israel storm-troopers
patrolling the political corridors of power on Capitol Hill and in the White
House, the Pentagon, and the State Department. We were also aware of their
hyper-sensitivity to any opinion that even in a remote sense is conceivably
pro-Palestinian or pro-Islamic. Armed with biased opinions and skewed
information, these die-hard defenders of the Israeli interest were keeping
watch over any Islamic "intrusion" into their exclusive American political
domain.
