Wedle tego co tutaj w USA słyszę można i tak, i tak. Off to lunch (at a
      restaurant), off for lunch (break).

        (time) off to lunch.(destination)
(time) off for lunch. (reason or duration)

        Off to a good start.
        Off to Detroit.
        Off for Boston via Detroit.

The dopier the question, the denser the answer.

Get your elbows off the table. OK.

Get your elbows off of the table. "Of" is redundant.

"Off of" is informal for "off."
