Super, myślałem że już nic nie nagrają... a ostatnią płytę "Antipop"
uwielbiam, zwłaszcza utwór tytułowy. Szkoda, że tak mało nowych kawałków, ale
może ich jakość wynagrodzi ilość...

"In June, three old friends reconvened at Rancho Relaxo and recorded 5 new
songs. Some of these musical ideas were generated in May in LA, when Les
Claypool, Larry Lalonde and Tim Alexander (don't call him "Herb") first got
back together and spent 3 days jamming, testing the waters, feeling each other
out and working on new jams.(...)
"The track 'Pilcher's Squad' was written and recorded in one afternoon. The
lyric was inspired by the activities of the notorious Sgt. Norman Pilcher, a
London police detective that used to bust Pop stars (including John Lennon and
George Harrison) in the late sixties for drug possession. He was later
convicted and subsequently jailed six years for planting evidence," states Les."

"The folks at Zoltron (in conjunction with the band) have pulled out all of the
stops to create a comprehensive 3+ hour dvd that will satisfy the most hardcore
fans. It compiles all 12 of the Primus videos, including the rarely seen "Too
Many Puppies" clip directed by Kevin Kerslake, the stop-motion animation
classic "Southbound Pachyderm," and the innovative "Wynona's Big Brown Beaver."
Also included are the award winning short animated film "The Devil Went Down To
Georgia," Sausage's "Riddles Abound Tonight" and the out of print 1992 home
video release "Cheesy Home Video." The dvd has short documentaries on the

Witam !
Szkoda, że Claypool nie rozwinął bardzo interesującego projektu, z którym
wystąpił na Fetiwalu Bonnaroo w 2002 r. - w składzie poza nim : B. Worrell,
Buckethead i Brain. Udało mi się to kiedyś ściągnąć z sieci.

co do tytułów, to nie były podane, ale wydaje mi się, że był to spontaniczny,
niepowtarzalny projekt. Mam to teraz w odtwarzaczu : czas 65:23, 10 kawałków.
Zaczyna się fragmentem Money PF, potem solo Worrell różne fragmenty klasyki
itd. Generalnie klimaty w stylu Praxis, a więc znakomite. Dźwięk średniej
jakości.

Wspaniała wiadomość... Mam jednak nadzieję, że nagrają coś lepszego niż
Antipop, bo na tle wczesniejszych dokonań, moim zdaniem, ta płyta wypada
blado...

Poczynania zespołu przestałem śledzić po "Brown album" - ale swoje miejsce w
historii już mają i ciekawe czy tym razem czymś zaskoczą.

A ja "Antipop" właśnie bardzo lubię. "Brown Album" niekoniecznie. I chciałbym,
żeby panowie nagrali CAŁĄ płytę, wtedy będę bardzo zadowolony.

Rozmydlili się chłopcy na "Brown Album" i "Antipop" zdecydowanie i niechaj nowa
rzecz do tych dokonań raczej nie nawiązuje. Prosty jakiś nu-fanko-metal zaczęli
grzmocić jak dziesiątki innych kapel, a przecież stać ich było na więcej.
