For our client, a big IT company we are currently looking for suitable candidates for the position of:
SAP PI & ABAP Support Analyst
Location: Poznań, Wielkopolskie
(ref. no.: SAPPIABAP/05/2012)
Job purpose:
To provide SAP PI and ABAP support to the client’s user community and the underlying business processes in use. To work closely with other colleagues on the SAP support team as well as the users, support manager and service delivery managers to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner and new requirements are communicated and managed effectively through to completion. To provide system checks as required by the users and drive efficiencies to ensure the system and processes perform as effectively as they should.
Principal Accountability:
· Investigation and analysing SAP trouble tickets as assigned
· Proactive PI system checking and resolutions
· Manage and coordinate planned maintenance activities in relation to PI communications
· Troubleshoot issues and work towards timely resolution according to SLAs
· Perform root cause analysis and develop fixes to recurring issues
· Ensure system and support related documentation is maintained and up to date
· Design solutions as required and work with project team to test and implement
· Coordinate with other system resolver groups and team members to ensure issue resolution
· Knowledge sharing/training within support team and business users
· Provide on-call after hours support for high priority issues, rotated between existing support team
· Assist in training front-line help desk resources in answering common questions and correctly identifying/assigning issues
Skills & Abilities:
· Fluent in English language both written and verbal
· 2-4 years experience of PI (preferably with some PI version 7.1)
· 2-4 years experience of ABAP programming including areas such as SAP logistics (MM/SD/WM)
· 1-3 years experience of Netweaver Enterprise Portal would be highly advantageous as would any experience of supporting MDM or EP
· Awareness of other SAP modules such as Materials Management, CRM, Sales & Distribution and FI/CO would be advantageous
· Awareness of ALE IDoc error investigation and resolution
· An enthusiasm to learn and enhance knowledge of SAP logistics functionalities
· Experience of idoc error investigation and resolution
· Experience of SAP version ECC 5.0 or higher
· Experience of supporting multiple sites in multiple timezones
· Good time management, communication and client facing skills
· Any team/people management skills would be advantageous
· Experience of SAP Retail preferred but not required
