02.12.03, 11:54
W 1991 znaleziono zmrozonego w Alpach 40/50 letniego mezczyzne. Zamarzl 5200
lat temu.

Probuje znalezc jakie mial DNA i nie jeszcze nie znalazlem , teraz to
rutynowego testu.

tu badaja dna Roslin ktore zjadl zmarzluch

The advent of mtDNA typing of ancient remains and living Europeans chal-lenged
Cavalli-Sforza, Menozzi, and Piazza’s “demic diffusion” model of thewave-like
expansion of Neolithic farmers. The first data came from “Ötzi theIceman,” a
5000-year-old mummy found frozen in the Tyrolean Alps in 1991.An international
team obtained mitochondrial control region sequences fromtissue samples in
1994. Ötzi’s mtDNA type, and others differing from his by onlya single
nucleotide, proved common among people alive today of Europeanancestry. Ötzi’s
DNA looks modern, because he is fully modern. Five thousandyears is less than a
single mutation from the present, even by the fast mito-chondrial clock. Bryan
Sykes of Oxford University extended the human mitochondrial lin-eage directly
back to the Paleolithic, when he analyzed DNA from a humantooth from the
Cheddar Gorge in the south of England. Excavated from a lime-stone cave, the
tooth was carbon dated to 12,000 years ago, approximately 6,000years before
farming reached England. Even so, like Ötzi the Iceman, CheddarMan’s identical
DNA type and many others differing from his by only a singlenucleotide are
common among Europeans alive today. Clearly, Cheddar Manwas a hunter-gatherer,
yet his DNA has survived into the present time. So therecould not have been a
virtually complete replacement of Paleolithic hunter-gatherers by Neolithic
      farmers
