"In the run-up to the launch of a major men’s fragrance for the Cerruti brand
next year, Coty Prestige is playing up its pillar line Cerruti 1881. A new
men’s fragrance, called Cerruti 1881 Black launching this fall, is planned to
become a second pillar and to attract younger consumers to the brand. 16
years since the launch of 1881, Coty France general manager Florence Rollet
declares “It is time to add something to the line, to attract the younger
man.”

Cerruti 1881 Black is a fresh, woody oriental developed by Michel Girard of
Quest. Key notes include black pepper, bitter orange, marzipan and precious
woods.
The bottle reflects the shape of the original 1881 but in a tinted
transparent black and textured finish, designed by Serge Mansau, the creator
of the first 1881 bottle.

The line comprises 50ml and 100ml EdTs priced €43 and €60 respectively.
Black will hit markets mid-October supported by a press campaign, sampling
and in-store visuals highlighting an ‘Italian-style party’, to help recall
the brand’s Italian origins.
The company projects the new fragrance to hit the top-10 in France the
brand’s top market."

Oj nie podoba mi się to klonowanie klasyka:)Chyba nie da się już zrobić nic

"INTERNATIONAL. Coty Prestige has unveiled a new men’s fragrance from the house
of Cerruti. Cerruti 1881 Black for Men will be introduced in Europe from
October.
The scent, described as “the ultimate gent’s fragrance”, is said to have been
inspired by the balmy yet refined atmosphere of an Italian evening. The
fragrance aims to embody the personality of a self-confident man with a natural
masculine allure, according to Coty.
The new Black version adds a modern twist to the fresh woody scent of the
original Cerruti 1881. The juice was created by Quest’s Michel Girard.
The top notes include black pepper combined with cotton lavender micro-absolute
and bitter orange. The heart is a blend of Texan white cedar, nutmeg and fresh
black cumin; the base features marzipan micro-absolute, plus guaiac and agar
woods.
The flacon is a reinterpretation of the original Cerruti 1881 bottle, darker in
colour to match the name and topped with a black cap. The outer carton is a
matching black, with the fragrance name etched in a contrasting silver.

Cerruti 1881 Black will be available as a 25ml, 50ml or 100ml edt spray, plus a
150ml shower gel.
The advertising campaign features a half-seen model, dressed in a black Cerruti
suit. The strap-line is “Perfect Natural Elegance”.
