"FRANCE. L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International is poised to polish
anew its Armani fragrance business this autumn, with the
introduction of Emporio Armani Diamonds for Men.
The scent will be available in European travel retail from
September. The recommended domestic price points are €45 for the
50ml edt and €57 for the 75ml edt.

The original, feminine fragrance, Emporio Armani Diamonds, fronted
by US superstar Beyoncé Knowles, was launched last year. The
masculine version will be promoted by US actor Josh Hartnett.

The Diamonds for Men concept is described as magnetic, charismatic,
hard to resist and made to shine. The juice is a woody gourmand
aromatic.
The top notes feature an Italian citrus-bergamot accord, enlivened
with a burst of Szechuan pepper. Cedar and cocoa bean form the
heart, while the base includes gaiac woods and vetiver.

The fragrance flacon aims to evoke the sense of a solid diamond,
with recessed facets along the side and an integrated shiny metal
spray cap.

Hartnett was chosen as the fragrance face, as he was deemed to
epitomise the key qualities of the scent. His screen repertoire
includes Pearl Harbour, The Black Dahlia and 30 Days of Night.

“I have long admired Josh Hartnett, who represents one of the most
talented actors of his generation,” commented designer Giorgio
Armani.

“Both on and off screen he has a charm and charisma that is
magnetic. His individuality, allure and nonchalant way of being are
all qualities which inspired me in the creation of this new
fragrance.” "

Diamonds- Diamonds Intense.

No i kolejny zapach z jesiennych premier juz u nas. Nie rozczarowuje
do konca, choc sam bym go nie nosil- kojarzy sie z meskimi hitami
Code, czy Mania, ale w bardziej orientalnym wydaniu, ze slodkawa
baza a la Rochas Man. Niezbyt ewoluuje, trzyma sie blisko skory.
Mysle, ze bedzie sie sprzedawac. Pomijam tandetna reklame i flakon.

Powąchałem. Flakon toporny, tandetny, a przecież nazwa powinna
zobowiązywać. Jest miły i uroczo banalny, jak to zapachy Armaniego.
Mnie się kojarzy z Lanvin Arpege.
