Edmunds is out with a projection regarding September SAAR (light vehicle)
sales. Seems as if the aftermath of the Clunker program will be pretty much
what the doctor ordered, a rout. Clunkernomics at work.

September’s light-vehicle sales rate will fall to 8.8 million units, consumer

could be the worst month of the year," noted Edmunds.com CEO Jeremy Anwyl. "Cash
for Clunkers was supposed to prime the pump, but that is a physics concept, and
