The Jenine refugee camp in the West Bank is witnessing Israeli executions and
killings after the occupation army controlled most of the camp. Still there are
pockets of resistance. The Israelis faced for the past 7 days a fierce
resistance despite of Israel’s massive killing policy. 14 Israeli soldiers were
killed in a Palestinian ambush in Jenin refugee camp on Tuesday. Wednesday, a
Palestinian resistance fighters blew himself up at a group of soldiers in the
camp. The troops bulldozed houses announcing they found the body of Mahmud
Tawalbeh, the Jenin chief of Islamic Jihad. Palestinian sources said that the
occupation forces were moving the Palestinian martyrs' corpses to an unknown
area in Jenin, in order to cover-up the massacre perpetrated there. Israeli
bulldozers were also raizing Palestinian houses in the camp. Failing to enter
into Nablus Old City the West Bank, Israeli F-16 warplanes and Apache
helicopters flew overnight over the town and fired several heavy missiles at Al-
Yasamina neighborhood. The Israeli troops dynamited several factories in the
Nablus industrial area, and shelled several Palestinian houses. Rescue teams
searching the ruins of buildings found 14 bodies in the rubble on Wednesday.
Among the dead found were Ribhe Haddad, local leader of the Popular Front for
the Liberation of Palestine, Ahmed Hmidan, a colonel in the Palestinian
national security service, and two other children. Palestinian medical sources
said that medical teams were allowed to enter the besieged town and evacuate
about 500 Palestinian casualties. "Israel" claimed the area was completely
under Israeli control, but it also announced that a parachute commander was
killed claiming that he was shot by a friendly fire and that 5 others were
injured. A Palestinian security source said that clashes is taking place in the
alleys and streets of the Old City, which is still out of "Israel's" control.
The occupation forces were also indulged in another fight in Balata refugee
camp, but were forced to pull back from the camp. Their failure prompted them
to stage another incursion into Halhoul in Nablus.
