Akt slubu w tzw. 'demokratycznym Izraelu' musi byc zawarty w obecnosci
rabiego aby byl uznany przez panstwo. I to nie moze byc byle jaki rabi. To
musi byc ortodoks rabi. I to nie byle jaki ortodoks rabi.To musi byc ortodoks
rabi z samego Izraela. Bo na przyklad ortodoks rabi z usa czy australi czy
nawet Polski...waznego slubu zydom dac nie moze.
A co maja powiedziec pary ktore sa ateistami ?
No to maja problem. Bo tzw. 'demokracja izraelska' nie uznaje ich za
pelnowartosciowych obywateli. Zeby zawrzec zwiazek pary takie musza opuscic
terytorium Izraela.
A co maja powiedziec np. Chrzescijanie mieszkajacy w tzw.'demokratycznym
Izraelu' ??
No tez maja pecha...bo ten tzw.'demokratyczny Izrael' nie uznaje prawnie
slubu pomiedzy Chrzescijanmi.

Knesset plenum votes against civil marriage bills
The Knesset plenum on Wednesday voted against two civil marriage bills
proposed by MKs Roman Bronfman (Meretz) and Ophir Pines-Paz (Labor) in a
preliminary reading.Justice Minister Yosef Lapid and other ministers from the
Shinui party abstained from the vote, but seven Shinui MKs voted for it.
Civil marriage was one of the main issues in the secular party's political
platform.
Under present laws, couples who wish to be married in Israel must be wed in a
religious ceremony, conducted by a clergyman recognized by the state. For
Jewish couples, the ceremony must be conducted by a recognized Orthodox
rabbi. Couples married in Israel by Reform and Conservative rabbis are not
registered as having been legally married.
Currently, couples who wish to get married in a civil ceremony or by an
unrecognized clergyman must travel abroad to do so.
According to the proposals defeated on Wednesday, couples would be allowed to
decide between a religious and civil marriage in Israel.
A total of 58 MKs from the Likud, National Union, National Religious Party,
Shas and United Torah Judaism voted against the bills, while 28 MKs from
Labor, Meretz, Shinui and Arab parties voted in favor of the bill.
Pines-Paz attacked Lapid on Wednesday and blamed him for employing "tyranny"
against the members of his faction.
Bronfman and Pines-Paz also attacked Lapid's Shinui party, accusing it of
hypocrisy. They noted that in the previous Knesset, two Shinui MKs submitted
similar bill proposals that were turned down.
Lapid rejected the criticism against him, telling Army Radio on Wednesday
that ministers are not allowed to vote against the coalition stand.
After the vote, Lapid left the Knesset plenum smiling. "We taught the Labor
party a lesson. Compared to the nine Shinui MKs who voted in favor of the
bills, only eight Labor MKs voted in favor," Lapid said, pleased. He
explained that, "Ministers cannot vote against the position of the
coalition."
Pines-Paz expressed anger towards Labor MKs - among them Shimon Peres,
Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, Amram Mitzna, Haim Ramon, and Avraham Shochat - who did
not attent the vote, despite the fact that they were in the Knesset building
at the time of the vote. He accused them of "voting with their feet" so as
not to upset MKs from religious parties.
Meretz MK Yossi Sarid called the Labor heads "mice that are not fit to lead
the opposition."
"The absence of Labor leaders during the vote is further proof that the party
isn't even worthy of the opposition," Sarid said.
