IDF Operations Last Night in Gaza City
As part of the ongoing war against terror and its infrastructures and
following the murderous terror attack last Saturday near Dugit where an
explosive charge was detonated underneath an IDF tank killing all four crew
members, IDF infantry, armor and engineering forces, assisted by combat
helicopters, operated last night in Shajeyeh in the northern sector of Gaza
City.
IDF forces demolished four weapon producing workshops containing 32 lathes,
which are used to produce mortars and Kassam missiles.
During the operation eight explosive charges were detonated at the IDF
forces. In addition, anti-tank missiles were launched, grenades were thrown,
and shots were fired on the IDF soldiers from several civilian buildings.
The IDF soldiers returned fire toward the source of the shooting and
identified several strikes.
It must be noted that three grenades were thrown toward the IDF forces from
within a Mosque and the soldiers refrained from returning fire and thus
causing damage to the religious structure.
There were no casualties during the operation among the IDF forces and no
damage was caused. Once the operation came to an end the IDF forces left Gaza
City.
The IDF will continue to operate against the terror infrastructures in the
Gaza Strip in order to stop the terrorists, their dispatchers and those who
aid them.

- Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday
killed and injured scores of Palestinians, mostly innocent civilians,
during a pre-dawn raid on a Gaza neighborhood.
Eyewitnesses said thousands of soldiers, backed by attack
helicopters and tanks, raided the eastern Gaza outskirts of Shujaiya,
shooting indiscriminately and destroying many homes, family businesses
and workshops.
Hospital sources reported that at least 11 people were killed and
more than fifty others injured in what one witness described as an
''orgy of murder and terror.''
''They are ganging up on us, murdering men, women, and children,
they are terrorizing everybody, they are Nazi, even worse than the
Nazis,'' said Muhammed Hattab, whose home sustained considerable
damage in the raid.
''Israel is committing daily massacres of defenseless and helpless
people, and we hear nothing about it.''
Many of the victims were crushed to death when Israeli helicopter
gunships fired air-to-air missiles at family businesses, including a
foundry in the Shujaiyya neighborhood, three miles east of Gaza City.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli forces attacked and destroyed a
Palestinian police position in the area, killing thee officers and
wounding five others.
The sources said the loud explosions caused a nearby building to
collapse, crushing at least three men, two of them brothers, to death.
Palestinian leaders in Gaza described the Israeli raid as
''criminal and terrorist.''
