Hi!
Can you help me how to write footnotes in may critical essay, that is what
should be included in the footnote, and the order of it. Should I also give
the place and publisher or only the author, title and page?
Thanx a lot!!!

Do you mean bibliographical references? Because a footnote (as I know it) is
just a note at the bottom of the page which gives some extra info about
something that you've written on that page.

      I do bibliography like this:

Author's Last Name, Author's first initial. (Year of publication). Title of the
Book in italics. City where it was published, sometimes country if the city is
not widely known: Name of the Publishing Company.

The above is for books. With journal articles it's a different story.

By the way, is Endnote popular in Poland at all? Is it available there at all?
With Endnote you create your own library of references on your computer, you
have to type them in manually, but then when you are writing your essay you can
insert the references in the body of the essay with only one click and at the
end of your essay Endnote will create the bibliography for you. You don't have
to type anything, it just does it by itself.

A written example of what? Bibliographical references? I can, but I can't
format them properly here, (I don't know how to do italics here or how to
underline) so the formatting won't show. If it's a book, its title should be
underlined; likewise with the journals' titles. The title of an article in a
journal should be in quotation marks.

But I must say here that this is only one way of formatting bibliographical
            references; there are others too.
