1. Robbery A 43-year-old woman had her purse stolen in the Brahms Avenue and
Leslie Street area after three men pushed her to the ground last Thursday evening.
2. Robbery A 44-year-old man was beaten unconscious last Thursday at 6 p.m. as
he walked through a complex at Pelham Park. When he came to, his SIN card and
cash had been stolen.
3. Robbery A 26-year-old escaped being robbed by three disguised men, one
armed with a knife, in the Kane Avenue and Aileen Avenue area last Thursday.
4. Assault A fight between two teens in a school cafeteria in the Blackcreek
Drive and Humber Boulevard area last Friday led to one youth heating up a cup
of coffee and throwing it against the victim's face and neck. He was treated
for second-degree burns.
5. Robbery A 14-year-old youth escaped being mugged in the Oakdale Road and
Finch Avenue West area last Thursday only to be approached again for his
headphones by the same man in the Yorkgate Mall parking lot the following day.
6. Possession of drugs Last Thursday, police arrested two men from a Gulliver
Road apartment after chasing one into a stairwell and finding the other hiding
in a closet. Police seized cocaine, marijuana and Ecstasy, for a total street
value of $133,700.
7. Assault Last Thursday, a man made sexual advances toward a 13-year-old girl
who was walking in the Mimico Avenue and Elizabeth Street area. She tried to
walk away and he grabbed her arm.
8. Robbery Last Thursday night, the owner of Oriental Kitchen was delivering
food in the Willowdale Avenue and Byng Avenue area when two men robbed him.
9. Robbery Last Friday, three men robbed a 16-year-old of his wallet in the
Jane Street and Weston Road area.
10. Robbery A man threw a 22-year-old woman to the ground as she walked in the
Willowdale Avenue and Finch Avenue East area and ran off with her purse early
last Friday.
11. Robbery Early last Friday, a 65-year-old man was struck in the back of the
head and robbed of his wallet on Danforth Avenue.
12. Robbery When a 23-year-old man answered a knock at his apartment door on
Mornelle Court last Friday, three disguised men armed with a handgun forced
their way inside. They tied him up and made off with a computer, luggage and a
wallet.
13. Robbery A 20-year-old man was with friends in a park in the St. Clair
Avenue West and Bathurst Street area late last Friday when three others
attacked and robbed him.
14. Robbery A 46-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were parked in the area
of Grenoble Drive and Gateway Boulevard early last Friday when eight men,
armed with a shotgun, knife and screwdriver, forced the man out of his
vehicle. They punched and kicked him and punched the woman in the face. They
stole jewellery, cash and cellphones and fled.
15. Robbery Six disguised men attacked and robbed a 50-year-old man in an
underground parking garage in the London Green Court and Driftwood Avenue area
last Friday at 8:15 p.m. One choked him while another hit him on the head with
a gun before taking his wallet, shoes, glasses and keys.
16. Robbery A man held up an employee in Gateway Bakery at 747 Don Mills Road
last Friday night.
17. Robbery Two men robbed the employees of Major Personnel Service Inc. at
4325 Steeles Avenue West last Friday.
18. Robbery A 22-year-old man escaped getting mugged last Friday at a bus stop
in the Jane Street and Finch Avenue West area after being threatened by two
men on bikes.
19. Robbery A 39-year-old TTC bus driver was choked from behind last Saturday
morning as she was driving in the Lawrence Avenue West and Weston Road area.
The man demanded cash and the driver slammed on the emergency brakes. He escaped.
20. Robbery Two teens were walking in the Royal York Road and Newcastle Street
area at 12:10 a.m. last Saturday when a car full of six men pulled up beside
them. The robbers stole a jersey, hat, two shirts and money from the youths.
21. Robbery Last Saturday, seven robbers stole a 20-year-old man's laptop
computer, digital camera and wallet.
22. Robbery Two 16-year-old youths were robbed of their wallets by five men
last Saturday evening in the Dundas Street West and Shorncliffe Road area.
23. Robbery A 34-year-old man was in an apartment with four men in the Fourth
Street and Kipling Avenue area last Saturday when they threatened him with a
bottle and a knife and demanded he drive them to the bank. The victim handed
over his car keys and wallet and escaped.
24. Robbery Last Saturday in the Jane Street and Falstaff Avenue area, a man
robbed two 17-year-old males walking on the street at gunpoint.
25. Robbery A 19-year-old woman awoke at 12:30 a.m. last Saturday in her
Lawrence Avenue East apartment to the sight of her four friends tied up and
laying face down on the floor with four men pointing guns at them.
