"Thierry Mugler Parfums (Groupe Clarins) is fashioning new ways to
attract the consumer’s attention. Two innovative limited-edition
scents for the A*Men (currently called Angel for Men in certain
markets) and Alien lines propose a novel way to experience the scent
through the packaging.

A*Men Pure Coffee is a woody, coffee oriental scent with a
pronounced Arabica coffee note, and is the work of Jacques Huclier
(Quest/Givaudan). The A*Men bottle is given a brown rubber coat in
which a large gold star is embedded. It is packaged in a coffee-
inspired brown and gold sleeve in which the consumer can smell the
scent via a special material insert at the front of the carton. The
EdT is priced at €64 for 100ml.

Likewise, the new Alien Eau Luminescente also has a scented insert
in its outer packaging. The fresh, floral amber scent based on the
tiaré flower is by Dominique Ropion and comes in an orange glass
version of the Alien bottle. The women’s EdT is priced at €56 for
60ml. Both lines launch in global retail in April.

For the launches, the brand is introducing retail animations
worldwide to showcase the new Alien and A*Men lines and the Angel
and Cologne fragrances. This involves window and shop displays and
in-store events around the theme Thierry Mugler Createur de Parfums
(Thierry Mugler, fragrance designer).

In addition, the brand is taking the Cologne brand into new
territory with its first amenities line for four and five star
hotels around the world, starting March. The development is in
collaboration with distribution company GM. The Mugler Cologne
Wellness ritual line includes hair and body shower gel, conditioner,
body lotion, soap and an EdT. The products, which are offered in two
sizes (40ml and 80ml), come in pebble-shaped packaging inspired by
the spa setting. They will also be available in a set and be sold on
a dedicated website Boutique.thierrymugler.com. The idea is not to
drive new sales, but to expose the brand to new consumers, Thierry
Mugler Parfums director of new projects Isabelle Malichier tells
CosmeticNews. The set will retail for €39."

  Nowa wersja wyjatkowo przypomina mi klasyczna EdP, ale w lzejszej,
  bardziej letniej odslonie- z poczatkowa hesperydowa nuta.
  Trwalosc raczej nie poraza, ale i tak jest o wiele mocniejsza, niz
  Innocent Rock. Duzy plus za flakon, naprawde udana kolorystyka.
  
  Warto dodac, iz klasyczny Alien Muglera odnosi coraz wieksze sukcesy
  finansowe- zagranica dostepny jest w "zrodelku" do napelniania,
  ktore dzieli z Angelem. Klapa okazal sie Eau de Star, rozwaza sie
  wycofanie takze Garden of Stars- na razie dostepnej zagranica
  zarowno jako wody, tudziez balsamy do ciala.
  
  Przy okazji w tytule postu poprawiona nazwa- w pierwotnie podanej
  widnieje literowka :-)

    A ja musze powiedzieć, że bardziej mi pasuje niż 'klasyczny'.
    Jest w nim i radość i promienistość i jakieś szczęście. Dla mnie bardzo udana
    kompozycja, zwłaszcza na tle Rock Innocent.
    Kolorystyka nie przypadła mi za bardzo do gustu - pomarańcz jak z odpustowych
    serduszek, ale pasuje do samego zapachu.
    Eau de star nie darze sentymentem, ale liliowego i różanego anioła byłoby mi szkoda.

      W klasyku uwielbiam jaśmin sambac, a tej wersji jeszcze nie
      wąchałam. Przyznaję, ze wygląda interesująco.

        Potwierdzam- ładny:) jasmin sambac znów gra pierwsze skrzypce na
        plus! A teraz minusy - czyli podobieństwa do istniejących na rynku:
        Armani Code(!), Sander Style(w pewnym stopniu- chyba również gdzieś
        kryje się magnolia). Obcy tym razem zachęca pomarańczowym,
        futurystycznym flakonem.:)

        Ale nie wiedzieć czemu jest reklamowany w damskich pismach jako
        zapach owocowy, konkretnie grapefruitowy..Długo starałam się
        dowąchać tej nuty i nic. Grapefruita nie czuję.
