The streets of Toronto are alive with the sound of munching
The streets are buzzing with sights, sounds and things to do this weekend.
If your stomach is rumbling, head over to the 13th annual Taste of the
Danforth for souvlaki and other Greek goodies.
The popular festival, which drew an estimated million people last year, turns
Danforth Ave. between Jones and Broadview Aves. into a car-free zone until
tomorrow. If you're taking the subway, jump off at Broadview, Chester, Pape or
Donlands stations.
And if you're still hungry and crave some spice in your life, head to
Harbourfront for the Hot and Spicy food festival which runs until tomorrow.

The Chinatown festival takes over the west side of Spadina Ave. between St.
Andrew St. and Sullivan St. A main stage will be erected at St. Andrew and
Spadina, and an appealing array of the area's food and merchandise will be on
sale.
If all that food makes you thirsty, Fort York is calling your name. It's
playing host to the Festival of Beer, which runs until tomorrow. The festival
is sold out today but tickets for tomorrow can still be purchased at the gates
for $25.
At Marilyn Bell Park, a new $23 million water course is hosting this year's
Dragon Boat World Championships, with teams from as far as Australia and
Shanghai to compete.
The free event starts at 8:30 a.m. today and tomorrow, and runs to 5:30 p.m.
