Sorry to drag the comment here, but I have never come accross someone being
offended by Christmas - whever atheist, hindu, muslim, sikh, buddhist...

Is this an American approach to sending Christmas cards????

There are a lot of people who get their information from crappy newspapers, and
they tend to describe anything that they don't understand as 'political
      correctness'.
'Thanks to so-called political correctness you can't even say...' and then of
course they say whatever it is you allegedly can't say. 'We can't sexually
assault our workmates any more!' they weep. 'I can't punch my wife in case it
offends homosexuals, and we can't stand outside Catholic schools shouting
sectarian abuse! It's political correctness gone mad!' they gibber.
These people are at this moment looking out of their windows at the rain
saying, 'See? They've even banned snow in case it offends Muslims from hot
countries, and I suppose a "white christmas" would be considered racist anyway.'

People who talk like that are generally the same gobshites who've been moaning
for the past quarter century that Brussels wants all bananas to be straight,
and then when you inquire 'So have you ever actually f***king seen a straight
banana?' and kick them up the arse they put their hands on their hips and say
sarcastically, 'Well pardon me if I'm non-PC.' And when you strangle them they
fold their arms melodramatically and say, 'You wouldn't be strangling me if I
      was coloured.'

      Same with Christmas.

          Of course not!
          I mean mad people.
Or 'differently sensible' as Daily Mail readers think they are now called.

There was an interesting article in the Independent last Saturday about PC
Xmas. They collected all these reports from crappy tabloids about Christmas
being banned and came to the boring and obvious conclusion that the Mail,
Express, Sun, etc were talking out their arses, quoting each other's stories to
justify their own, which were all either taken out of context or simply made up
          anyway.
Can't remember the exact details, but schools aren't replacing the slice of
turkey which they traditionally use to celebrate the birth of Mr J. Christ with
          a slice of halal chicken.
And while some employers may be banning drunken Christmas orgies on company
premises for theological reasons, most are just afraid of being sued by
employees who suffer seasonal occupational hazards such as falling off chairs
in a drug-induced haze whilst attempting to attach holly and mistletoe to the
ceiling, or damage incurred to their arse whilst trying to photocopy it.

Apparently Rabbi Elazar Bogomilsky regrets spoiling the spirit of Xmas. He's
decided to retract his earlier statements after receiving a number of
threatening phone calls. The Xmas trees are going back up at the Sea-Tac. You
can't take guys like this seriously.

This idiot on Maggie's group started telling everyone not to use Christmas on
Christmas cards as it was "inappropriate" - well, he nearly spelt it that way.

I put him on the right lines.
