what's logical, what's not?

I'm native Polish, and I teach this language as a foreign. It's always great
adventure for my to hear how you find Poland and Polish. Any experiences?.....

Shazadi is an unusual name for a native Polish person. Do your courses last

This is what some Poles do, they get foreign sounding nick (some of which don't
make no sence whatsoever) and they think they are cool like that...I respect
Poles who use their original Polish names, even when abroads. I would think
that non-Poles find those people more interesting, then somebody who comes from
Poland and calles himself John or Judy...

No Dear... this is my nick from other forum, dedicated to the subject connected
to Arabic culture. I didn't know you care so much about names, should I have
"Krystyna" or "Jadwiga" then? Each time I was in foreign country I was using my
Polish name, do not worry.

OK, I'll try not to be so thick in future.

So what is Shazadi from then, and try not to be on the defensive this time. No
need to start strapping bombs around yourself just because we commented on tyhe
Arabic name!

- I didn't take it this way... rather I feel it's silly to expect Poles to have
only Polish nick...but this is less serious matter. I was upset the most with
assosiating my work with night work. First this is sexist, second assosiation
was with no reason - Shazadi (Shazadi (shah-ZAH-dee)Persian= princess) has
nothing in common with Shecherezada. Third, even if it would be Shecherezada,
somebody who know the story of her knows that she should be assosiated more
with wisdom than sex.

Another think I'm diapointed its your stright connection: Arab= bombing. Boy,
why your mind is so narrow!!! As Foreigner I'd rather expect you to be more
tolerant.... I feel bad when I hear that Poles are xenophobic, are we?

I can tolerate a lot of things, but I still think advising people not to strap
bombs on themselves is good advice. I'm sorry if you feel otherwise.

How come it was not dedicated to the Polish, Mazurian or Podlasian culture? Why
is that so many polish women especialy have that strange fascination with
arabs, dark skin, hairy men and all that weird stuff?

love affairs but in a dance and music of this region... men are involved as the
musicians or dancers, not lovers

As for fascination with Arabs... no idea... perhaps its tha same thing as with
the fascination with German, Spanish or Nederlanden or African ... each girl has
her own prioritys. I can ask: "Why is so many guys (not only Polish)have that
strange fascination with blond/red-haired/skinny/silly/giggling* girls?"
Answer can be: because they find in them what they are looking for in the
opposite sex.

And what's wrong with our own- Polish culture? Especially that Poland has a
rich culture, dance and music on its own, to mention; mazurka, polonaise, both
are form of music and dance that are renown worldwide as a trademarks of Poland
since time of Chopin.

It just seem strange and unlikely to me, why would a Egiptian archelogist come
to Poland do dig for antics, if his own country is the archeologists'
paradise...

Blong girls are least atractive to me, acutally I love brunettes, asian and
slightly darker skined women...
