in 'sociolinguistics' here in Poland - send him an e-mail! He can probably
answer your question. His Polish isn't so very good though, so write in English!

My advice is don't study it, unless you are independently wealthy. The job
market's not big. And university pay is shite!

It's an interesting subject, and jobs are much easier to come by.
