Well, the school mates of my son said this morning “we will go to drown ...
bushanna” (on the first day of spring they usually drown marzanna).

al, thee is no such tradition of may-day carnival such as there is in poland in
the english world, therefore a set expression equivalent to polish 'topienie
marzanny' does not exist. in english, you would probably say that you 'have set
the mankin, or some straw representation of winter (?), on water'.
