I wanted to post in hopes of perhaps helping others dealing with excema, or what I think of as the most mysterious ailment out there. In the spring of 2006, I woke up with two scaly, red, itchy patches under my eyes. I assumed it was an allergy and figured it would go away the next day. To my dismay, not only did these patches not go away, they grew to cover nearly my entire face and caused me physical and emotional pain for the next year and a half.

My eyelids, cheeks, forehead, chin, and most areas of my face oozed, weeped, peeled, itched, flaked, burned, and was bright red. Having never experienced anything of this sort in the past and being an attractive woman, I was devastated. Each day, I woke up in hopes of relief, running to the mirror to see if it had subsided, to no avail.

I worked with naturopaths, energy workers, MDs, dermatologists, and everything in between. It was the MD who suggested "prayer healing." No one knew what to do. But the "alternative" practitioners suggested it was a highly toxic liver and a poorly functioning digestive system.

Immediately, I went off the birth control pill. Fortunately, I was on no other medications. I went on a very strict diet: no sugar, alcohol, wheat, dairy, gluten, and ate mainly fruits, vegetables, and lean meats. I also began an intense yoga practice. I took many different supplements. It was the most miserable, yet eye opening experience of my life. Never before did I understand why people ended their lives until that time. I was beyond depressed.

I believe that my liver and digestive system were poorly functioning. Interestingly enough, I ended the relationship I was in and the symptoms ceased. I found a new love and ate anything I desired! My point in writing is that I believe we need to look at ALL factors when determining a treatment plan for our ailments, including what we put in our bodies and the emotional and spiritual aspects of our lives, too.

I had a bit of a flare up recently after the holidays. I saw the red patches under my eyes and was paralyzed with fear. But I instantly knew that I needed to alter my "holiday diet" and get back on track, and look at ways I was feeling stressed. I'm cutting out sugar and wheat again, which I think are all sorts of evil. I'm supplementing with buffered vit C, liquid b vitamins, immunogloblins, vit D3, oregano oil, aloe juice, flax oil, probiotics, and a whole lot of lemon water to flush the system. In four days, the symptoms have subsided.

I know how painful this condition can be, and how out of control you can feel. On the bright side, our bodies are clearly telling us through our skin that something is wrong! Make some necessary changes in your lives, and best to you!

A tutaj post z "Kto wyleczyl dziecko z AZS"

I zauważyłam: alergię pokarmową. Dieta eliminacyjna trwa nadal.
Życzę wytrwałości, a szansa jest zawsze!!!

Hello everyone! My daughter has been battling psoriasis since she was a baby. She's 13 now. The problem is the psoriasis is confined to the buttock areas & also her scalp & ears. I took her to the doctor about 4 years ago & they thought she had a yeast infection. 2 years ago, she went to a dermatologist who diagnosed her with psoriasis. She's been on all kinds of medication since then: hydrocortisone 4%, nystatin cream, clobetasol o.o5%, triamcinolon 0.1%, desonide cream 0.05%, ketoconazole 2%, mometasone 0.1%. They all provided temporary relief, but once she stopped using it even for a day, the problem came back. Since some of these contain steroids, I decided to stop application and look for something natural to use. Her skin is all flakey, dried & thinned out from the medications plus due to her scratching, it was quite bloody & scratched up. So about a week ago, I applied neosporin for 2 nights. Then on the 3rd night, I had her sit in a mixture of apple cider vinegar 5% acidity(1 part vinegar to 5 parts water) for about 15 minutes. Right away, I could see the vast improvement in her skin. I had her apply "Doctor's Defense". So she's been doing this for almost one week now and her skin has healed so much. It's not thinned out anymore. There is no bleeding, no cuts, no redness. She also said that it's not itching anymore. I also have her apply the mixture to her ears and scalp with a cotton ball and it is also look so much better.

My 8 month old son has had eczema since he was four months old. I have tried many prescription creams that did not seem to work or worked for only a few days. A friend asked me to try coconut oil. Its worked miracles. I got results in a day. There was no itching and the dry patches were gone. I now make sure to keep a bottle in the house all the time. I have also noticed that water and soap worsen eczema, so when he has it, I avoid them on the patches and use the oil instead."

Tu pisza o dobrym dzialaniu oleju kokosowego na skore dla dziecka, szybki rezultat , bo juz po pierwszym dniu stosowania czerwone placki zniknely.
