Combats d’artifice
Grand spectacle de joutes pyrotechniques à partir de 22h au pied de la butte
du Lion de Waterloo. Une heure de féerie lumineuse et sonore offerte à tous,
pour le plus grand bonheur des petits et des grands. Trois artificiers de
renommée internationale s’affrontent et se répondent dans une mise en espace
directement inspirée de l’histoire, à jamais marquée par cette date du 18 juin
1815.
Réservez dès à présent vos places en tribune assise, face à la butte, pour
découvrir ce spectacle époustouflant dans les meilleures conditions de
conforts acoustique et visuel.

Ouverture des bivouacs
L’occasion de voyager, de 10h à 17h, au cœur des bivouacs napoléoniens et
alliés, découvrir la vie quotidienne des soldats et se plonger dans l’ambiance
impériale.
Les troupes quitteront leurs bivouacs vers 18h et à 19h, la bataille
s’engagera entre les troupes alliées et françaises dans les champs proches de
la place du village de Plancenoit.
Rendez-vous au bivouac d’Hougoumont (3 € l’entrée) pour passer en revue les
forces alliées et/ou au bivouac du Dernier Quartier Général de Napoléon (2 €
l’entrée, gratuit sur présentation du billet d’entrée au bivouac d’Hougoumont).

La reconstitution de la bataille
Les premiers mouvements de troupes débuteront dès 9h30 et les combats
commenceront à 10h précises pour se terminer vers midi. 3000 reconstituants
pour comprendre le déroulement de cette immense bataille de l’histoire
européenne qui opposa les troupes de Napoléon à celles de Wellington et Blücher.
Trois façons de vivre la bataille vous sont proposées :
1. Sur le champ, au cœur même des combats,
2. Sur la butte, pour une vision aérienne du champ de bataille,
3. En tribune, pour profiter pleinement du spectacle dans un confort visuel
et acoustique maximum

Friday, 18 June
Firework struggle
Great show of pyrotechnic battles from 10 p.m on at the foot of the Lion
Mound. One full hour light and sound enchantment for everybody, old and young.
Three internationally reputed firework makers confront one another and compete
in a production directly inspired by this notable date of 18 June 1815, for
ever a milestone in History.
Book your seats in the grandstand, in front of the mound to discover this
splendid show in the best possible acoustic and visual comfort conditions.
Saturday, 19 June
Opening of the bivouacs
From 10 a.m till 5 p.m discover the soldiers’ everyday life and the imperial
atmosphere. The troops will leave their bivouacs around 6 p.m and at 7 p.m;
the battle will begin between the Allied and French troops in the fields near
the village square of Plancenoit.
Rendez-vous at the Hougoumont Bivouac (admission 3 euro) for the review of the
Allied Forces and/or at the Napoleon's Last General Headquarter Bivouac (2 euro)
Sunday, 20 June
Re-enactment of the battle
The first troop movements will begin around 9.30 a.m and the fights at 10 a.m
sharp to end around noon. 3.000 re-enacters to understand this huge battle of
the European History, between the Napoleonic troops and the Wellington and
Blücher's ones.
3 ways of reliving the battle are suggested :
1. on the field, at the very heart of the fights,
2. on the mound, for an aerial view of the battle field
3. in the grandstand, to enjoy the show entirely with the greatest acoustic
and visual comfort conditions
