- And now what? - Rufus sighed, opening another Bill to pay. - How am I
supposed to find money for all that?
Good question! Since he had gotten fired, he hardly ever saw a money, and
everyone just wanted more and more from him.
- If I don't pay 'em, they're gonna take my car! - He murmured. Feeling
helpless, he knew he had only one thing he could do. He left apartment,
heading towards Moe's Pub. He still could buy one bear, and such a "treatment"
was very helpful to his sore soul.
While on the backyard, he noticed old mrs. Hackney with her golden necklace.
"Hey, if I had this thing, I could solve all my financial problems", he
thought, but then a little angel to his right said to him: "Don't do that!
She's just a poor old woman". Then a little devil to his left said: "Come on!
You know you need money!". Rufus grinned. This time Goodness was a loser.
After midnight, he went to mrs. Hackney's door with torch and crowbar. Old
lock was easy to break, and just seconds later he was inside heading towards
old lady's bedroom, trying not to wake her. Then suddenly, he heard something
howling. Burglar alarm! He ran away, but when outside, he heard "Freeze!" and
saw policemen pointing guns at him. "Now I don't have to worry about bills for
few years", he thought.
