"FRANCE. Guerlain has extended its Shalimar and Habit Rouge fragrance
franchises with new, lighter versions and, for L’Instant de Guerlain pour
Homme, a new shaving line.
Shalimar Eau Légère Parfumée — the brand’s traditional summer offering — has
been updated with new packaging (left). The company has created a transparent
flacon which reveals the blue juice within.
The outer carton has also been redesigned in blue, with an indigo “wave”
motif. The cap is coloured midnight blue, and is inscribed with the same
cursive-style “Guerlain Paris” signature as the original perfume extract.
The launch will also benefit from the new ad campaign created recently for
the original Shalimar fragrance (The Moodie Report.com, 12 January).
Shalimar Eau Légère Parfumée is described as a fresh oriental. Key notes
include bergamot, jasmine, may rose and vanilla. It is available as a 75ml
edt.

Also new for summer is Habit Rouge Eau de Toilette Légère. Described as a
fresh and modern version of the original Habit Rouge, the reworked juice
features a floral heart and an amber/woody base.
It is presented in a clear, 100ml atomiser, adorned with a silver/red label.
The chrome-plated cap is also encircled with red, as is the plunger tube.
The outer carton echoes the silver/red colourway.

Still on the masculine front, Guerlain has extended its L’Instant de Guerlain
pour Homme fragrance with a L’Instant du Rasage shaving collection (left). It
will begin rolling out in France from March.
The new collection features a Face Scrub cleansing gel, a shaving gel and an
aftershave moisturiser. The recommended domestic price points are €34, €22
and €36, respectively.

Meanwhile, Guerlain has created a 200ml splash version of the L’Instant de
Guerlain pour Homme edt. The ridged flacon is topped with a bakelite stopper.
The cap, and the outer carton, are a warm chocolate brown.
The recommended domestic price is about €86."
