"FRANCE. Yves Saint Laurent Beauté will introduce its new summer make-up look,
YSL Sun, into travel retail from June. Meanwhile, this month the company is
rolling out its Cinéma Festival d’Été limited-edition women’s fragrance into
the channel.

The 2006 summer look focuses on sea, chic and sun, according to the company.
For ease of differentiation, the products themselves are presented in special
flecked bronze packaging, accented with gold.
Key new items include Leg Mousse Make-up, the Palette Sensation Soleil, Poudre
de Soleil SPF10 Bronzing Powder and the Palette Horizon for eyes.

The Leg Mousse Make-up is said to deliver a light veil of colour in the form
of “virtual tights”. It is both water- and transfer-resistant. Available in two
shades, it is presented in a 125ml aerosol can, for ease of application.

The Palette Sensation Soleil (priced at €42.40 in travel retail), is described
as a complete make-up kit that contains the essential products for face, eyes
and lips.

These are: Poudre de Soleil SPF10, two eye shadows and two glossy lip colours.
They are presented in a two-tier, round compact with large integral mirror. The
upper tier swings open to reveal the lipstick and three applicator brushes.
The Palette is available in two colourways, one for international markets; the
other for Asia.

The Palette’s Poudre de Soleil SPF10 (€28) is also available separately,
packaged in its own mirrored compact. It is available in three shades.

Lastly, there is the Palette Horizon (€35.20), inspired by YSL designer Stefano
Pilati’s Spring-Summer 2006 Croisière Collection. It features four shades
(midnight blue, turquoise, copper and gold, separated by zig-zags of silvery
white.
The Palette comes complete with a double-ended foam applicator and a suedine
pouch.

Meanwhile, within fragrance, YSL has extended its Cinéma collection with a
limited-edition Festival d’Été version.
It features an updated juice and packaging, with a white and gold colour
scheme. The scent is available as a 90ml edt; the recommended travel retail
price is €39.20"
