"US company Coty Beauty is hoping for a sensation with its latest
fragrance for Canadian singer Celine Dion. The company will launch
Sensational globally this April, to tie in with the singer’s first
world tour in several years that starts this month.
The sparkling, fruity fragrance, which is intended to evoke Dion’s
stage persona and a more modern woman than previous launches, was
created by Maurice Roucel of Symrise. It has notes of iced pear,
apple, jasmine, lily of the valley, amber and musk. The scent is
housed in an oval faceted bottle.

A print campaign for the launch features Dion on stage against a
salmon-pink backdrop, while the TV spot is the first ever to feature
one of her songs, according to Coty France marketing director Muriel
Pauli. Samples of the fragrance will feature with Dion’s CD and DVD
products thanks to a partnership with entertainment firm Sony,
reinforcing the link between the entertainer and her fragrances.
The leading markets for Celine Dion’s fragrances worldwide are
Canada followed by France, Pauli told journalists at the Paris
launch. “Celine Dion is a brand that is dynamizing the market,” she
said.
The 30ml EdT will retail for approximately €18 in mass outlets.

It is one of a whole series of spring launches for Coty Inc’s mass-
market division, including new fragrances for Kylie Minogue and
Adidas, and the first products to emerge from the company’s
licensing agreement with car brand Tonino Lamborghini, announced in
July last year."
