Davie's Borat beats Madzia's Spice impression :)

25.12.06, 06:58
I prefer Davie's impression of Russkie, to Madzia's impression of posh
English woman smile

Yeah, I think he's only one step behind Sasha Baron Cohen's Borat smile Maggie
on the other hand is the lame copy of the British girl, who doesn't miss any
opportunity to remind the World she is British wanna be sad Sorry.

Keep it up Victor Dimitrievitch!

I'm glad you enjoyed the comedy. But you see it just goes to show that
everybody - well perhaps not everybody - finds a certain attraction in other
places and other races. I like the Slavs - OK I've also got a German on there
and a Geordie and an Irishman and a Frenchman, and I haven't even done a Pole
yet, although I have thought of playing a Polish character, and I'll get round
      to it one day.

If Maggie likes the UK or you like the US, then it's no surprise. the world was
made having different countries in it, and it's no surprise if we sometimes
take a special interest in the sposob bycia, as it were, of another people, and
      even try to imitate it.

It is a natural thing and not something to criticise.

If you were to play this "polish character" who would it be? Your Victor
Dimitrievitch is the Russian bussinessman, but what type of character you would
choose if you were to parody a "typical Pole"?

Sure, I adopted many American ways because I live here, and I feel special
connection with ths country, also I have this fascination with everything
Asian, which is the result of dating Japanesse and Thai girlfriends in the
past...(my ex would be mad if she only knew, that "I stole" her recipe for Thai
egg rolls, yes the ones that her mom said young Thai ladies make ony for
special men who they want...., and now I make it for my Polish wife, which ones
she loves .... What an irony! smile )

But I would never thought of pretending to be Ninja, not I would never force
myself to act all-american, althought as I said already, it is my adopted land
and I feel as connected as I am to the country of my birth....

        > It is a natural thing and not something to criticise.

The idea is not to overdo it.... You pretend to be Russian just for kicks, and
I often pretend to speak Chinesse, once I even foolled my Chinesse coworker,
        long time ago...

I think the character would be a person who had been brought up in rural
Poland, but who recently moved to "You Knighted Kink Dumb" in the pursuit of
wealth and happiness, only to be confronted by people who don't know how to
live properly, and have got no manners. At which point, he takes to lecturing
the British on savoir-vivre in their own country.

I think there could be quite a bit of comedic mileage in that - both in making
people laugh at the quaintness of the UK on the one hand and also the ideas of
          Polish people on the other.

I take it you refer to eggs as in the foodstuff, given that much context,
rather than the part of the anatomy.

I actually thought of a name for him a while back - Zapalny, Stanisław.

He gets very upset when the Brits call him "Stan Zapalny".

I don't remember being on first name terms with you. So don't use my name as if
      we were friends.
      That's one thing.

Another is that, I knew as soon as you'd get back on the forum, all you would
do is talk about me. That's not really a compliment for me, I don't understand
your obsession but it would be nice if you'd pay attention to someone else.

It's actually a surname. It means "a small forest" in German. His full name is
actually Euzebiusz Waldek, I have it on good authority.

you can not identity a name with somebody famous who happened to be christianed
                that way.

If my name was John I guess I could pick and choose from the long list of
Johns; John the Babtist, John Wayne, John Lennon, Jan Kochanowski, Jan III
                Sobieski and so on.... smile

            You're thinking of Walmart.
"Waldek" is a maritime term for a plank attached to a dyke.

US and other western media talk about Iranian President Ahmedinajiad, or
N.Korean Dictator Kim Jong Il as well, which doesn't necessary means they are

Your russian accent is pretty good, the dialoges are OK but...

you are way too boring for Rusian guy.... Russian's are unpredictable by
western standarts, they always seems to do everything backwards or react to
various things in rather original way...just like Borat smile

you have to be little bit more obnoxious, loud, schovinistic and still
      likeble...that's how most Russians are.
