I see Russian planes were used to help Greeks

I see the Russians hurried to help the Greeks with their Ilyushins, capable
of dropping tonnes of water from the air in order to put out forest fires.

I don't know why they don't just get a big helicopter over the fires with a
bloke sitting on the rim with a bloody great hosepipe like everybody else
does.

speaking of Greeks and Russian relations... I always wondered how
did Greece avoided becoming soviet satelite, given it's eastern
location. Anybody?
