There are also families in North America living in storage
containers. This came to the forefront when a working woman was
arrested for leaving her two young daughters alone in a storage
container. Further investigation revealed that she was doing the
best she could, working two waitress jobs and that there were
hundreds of people living in containers, the figure will never be
known. Many were between jobs, looking for work, some working but
unable to get a room/apt. on their low wages. There was even a small
businessman trying to save money.
