to dobra decyzja.

        Moim zdaniem.

watch the currency exchange between the Czech Koruna and the Polish
zloty. Today is around 5.86 koruna for one zloty. Zloty used to be
      for 7.80 koruna in summer 2008. (1999 - 1 zloty = 10 koruna). I
wouldn't be surprised about the currency exchange: 1koruna=0.20zloty
(1zloty=5koruna) in next couple of weeks. The Czech Republic seems
to have one of the most stable economy in Europe. Just check the
economic reports to get a clue. They are really in pretty good shape
no matter what is happening...It was a good idea to transfer zloty
into koruna 4 months ago. The Euro currency does not have a good
      outlook..Greetings from USA

      • mil1231 you are wrong.. 03.03.09, 19:19
yes, Czech is stable but... it depends too much on export and their major
industry is car industry. As you know, car industry is in serious decline and
that will cause a lot of trouble for Czech economy. Polish economy has many
other sectors of expansion and a big interior market. That means that we will
survive that without major problems and Czech sooner or later will pay for being
involved so much in export. If you add our huge EURO 2012 investments
(motorways, stadiums, hotels) which mean a lot of work for our labour forces,
the situation is much more infavour to Poland. You will see how will the
        situation develope this year :)

I tought they are strong in beer, tourism and producing movies. The
Pilsner Urquell beer is something you can buy anywhere you go in US.
We also have their streetcars here in Portland. check this out:
          www.youtube.com/watch?v=l5-GlooFib4&feature=related. I was in
Prague three years ago. I have never seen a more beautiful city..we
also visited Barrandov studios....would like to go again...
          • mil1231 yes, but that is a different subject 03.03.09, 19:49
it has nothing to do with their GDP. Skoda is actually more German than Czech..
Czech GDP is smaller than polish and we are much more stabile.

If you want to see Poland, watch this:

there are also other more "touristic" cities like Kraków, Wrcoław. We have the
same travel indutry like Czech Republic :) and our beer is also very, very good
:) Pilsner is not the best czech beer- did you drink Gambrinus? or Staropramen?

I don't know anything that they are particularly famous from movies...which
            czech movie have you seen?

thanks for the pictures...it looks modern...I saw 6 Czech movies at
movie festival here in Portland. It was focused on movies from
Eastern Europe. The most of them were from the Czech Republic. I was
most impressed with the movie called Empties...I have heard that
Cracow is also a beautiful city...have to visit both countries next
              time
