§ A 53-year-old man who developed a severe artery blockage after 2-1/2
years on a high-protein, low-carb diet.
§ The sister of a 41-year-old man who died this June of a sudden
cardiac arrest while on a high-protein, low-carb diet.
§ A woman who developed recurring kidney stones and elevated
cholesterol and had her gall bladder removed after following a high-protein,
low-carb diet.
Also available for interviews: a patient of Dr. Esselstyn, Jr., who was able
to survive advanced heart disease by switching from a meat-heavy diet to a
healthy, low-fat diet.
