The detention of Al-Quaida suspects in Guanatamo Bay has from the very
beginning conradicted the basic principles both of international law and of the
law applicable to the legal rights of persons detained under American law. US
authorities chose to ignore those fundamental human rights, in so far as by
choosing the exterritorial Guantamo Base they were able to flout the basic
principles of civilised approach to those who might face very serious charges
indeed. Some of those charges pertain, in legal theory at least, to the death
penalty. No access to lawyers for two and a half years, with no specific
charges laid aginst the detainees, renders the whole process of detention
invalid in the eyes of those who believe in a civilised legal process.

There is a problem. It is quite probable that some of the detainees are guilty
of the offences that the US authorities are levelling against them. Somebody,
however, should tell president Bush, former governor of a cowboy state of
Texas, that the civilised world - which he clearly does not understand - does
expect a proper recourse to those norms of the legal process which are a far
cry from the "Gulag" he has created in Guantamo. I have seen numerous intervies
with Bush and Rumsfeld, and the soldiers running that infamous camp, including
its commander. All those interviews have one common and a very dangareus
thread. Namely that all those aformentioned talk like crazed parrots, without
paying any regard whatsoever to the due process of law, which should be
        afforded to the detainees.

The British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, also talks like a madman, when asked to
comment about the legality of the detention in Guantamo Bay.

This attitude can have very dangerous, not to say catastrophic, consquences.
Those unacceptable consequences stem from the very basic fact that fight
against terrorism should not be in the hands of primitive Texan cowboys whose
intellectual acumen falls far short from understanding how to combat the most
important threat facing the world today. Parrots like Bush or Rumselfd and
their primitive military "thinkers" can do untold damage in the fight against
terrorism. The same unfortunately applies to Bush's poodle, Tony Blair.

Every civilised person should oppose the murderous plans that terrorists have
in store. However, if the core of the actions against terrorism is in the hands
of primitive cowboys and morons there is less chance of winning that most
important battle of the 21st century.

penalty. No access to lawyers for two and a half years, with no specific
charges laid against the detainees, renders the whole process of detention, and
any subsequent trial proceedings – which are an integral part of that
      detention -
invalid in the eyes of those who believe in a civilised legal process.

There is a problem. There seems to be little doubt that some of the detainees
      are very dangerous men, guilty
of the offences that the US authorities are levelling against them. Somebody,
however, should tell President Bush, former Governor of a cowboy state of
Texas, that the civilised world - which he clearly does not understand - does
expect a proper recourse to those norms of the legal process which are a far

      interviews
with Bush and Rumsfeld, and the soldiers running that infamous camp, including
its commander. All those interviews have one common and a very dangerous
thread. Namely that all those aforementioned talk like crazed and infallible
      parrots, without
paying any regard whatsoever to the due process of law, which should be
afforded to the detainees. The performance of the military personnel in
Guanatamo in front of the cameras beggars belief. They bark like indoctrinated
automatons schooled by experts from Komsomol. Any semblance of civilised speech
reflecting an individual thought process seems to be totally outside their
grasp. A clear case of censorship resulting in very primitive verbal
behaviour, directed probably, horror of horrors for domestic American
      approval.

The British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, also talks like a madman, when asked to
comment about the legality of the detention in Guantamo Bay.

This attitude can have very dangerous, not to say catastrophic, consequences.

intellectual acumen falls far short from understanding how to combat the most
important threat facing the world today. Parrots like Bush or Rumselfd and
their primitive military mignons can do untold damage in the fight against
terrorism. The same unfortunately applies to Bush's poodle, Tony Blair.

Every civilised person should oppose the murderous plans that terrorists have
in store. However, if the core of the actions against terrorism is in the hands
of primitive cowboys, full of self-importance, and military morons, there is
less chance of winning that most
important battle of the 21st century.
Fight against terrorism must be prosecuted relentlessly with no respite and
with utmost vigour, and in such a way that will uphold respect for western
values which are so loathed by the ideologists of those groups of sick
individuals who are prepared to murder and maim innocent human beings,
causing untold suffering and damage. Guantamo does not fulfil these criteria.
Unlawful detention for over two years and legal limbo, prior to some sort of a
court trial, do not in any way reflect those western values which should be at
the core of any treatment of any persons detained. Bush is running a great risk
of building a very primitive picture of his country within the world
      community.

przez dostepu adwokata, rodziny i przez oskarzenia/. To czarna karta

Zdaje sie, ze nasz meerkat prezentuje opinie, ze lepiej 10 niewinnych
rozstrzelac, niz jednego winnego ominac. Tych czterech przymknieto z paragrafu
o walce z terroryzmem, znaczy sie ze ten piaty raczej nic wspolnego z
terroryzmem nie mial Pojawia sie zatem pytanie, jakim prawem zostal zatrzymany
i wieziony tak dlugo. Gdyby byly dowody na jego dzialanosc terrorystyczna,
bynajmniej i w Wielkiej Brytani nie puszczono by go tak ot sobie na wolnosc.
Zreszta wiecej bylo przypadkow zupelnie nieslusznego zatrzymania ludzi w
Guantanamo, ot tak, bo sie komus wydawalo.
Z drugiej strony niby to my jestesmy ci dobrzy i my chcemy szerzyc demokracje,
tudziez wolnosc.
tych, ktorych teraz potepiamy. Ponadto ktoregos dnia sami mozemy stac sie
      ofiarami tej zasady.

Jeden z tych wiezniow byl wiezniem talibow, wiec go na Kubie Castro
zamelinowal, zeby go Amerykanie nie torturowali, bo to juz taliby robily z nim.

Musi to byl ten co to przeszkadzal talibom w dojsciu do porozumienia USA z
talibami po wplaceniu na konto talibow milionow dolarow przez wolnosc milujace
      USA....
