Na forum dyskusyjnym mojego syna (temat: japońskie mangi) pojawiła się
angielska wersja przepowiedni Nostradama:

Tlumaczenie:
trzecia wielka wojna się rozpocznie, gdy wielkie miasto stanie w płomieniach. I
stalowe ptaki zaatakują Wieze, i wieże legną w gruzach i z popiołów wież
nastanie wielka wojna.

Czy jest ktoś, kto zna jego przepowiednie i potwierdzi, że rzeczywiście tak
brzmią. W kontekście wypowiedzi Busha, uznającego zamachy terrorystyczne za
wypowiedzenie wojny całemu cywilizowanemu światu Nostradamus brzmi tak, że
skóra cierpnie.

Czytałam podobną przepowiednię Nostradamusa:

"W mieście boga będzie wielki grzmot,
dwóch braci zostanie rozszarpanych przez chaos,
forteca runie, wielki przywódca podda się.
Trzecia duża wojna zacznie się,
kiedy duże miasto zacznie się palić."

Przepraszam wszystkich. Coś złego dzieje sie z moim łączem. Nie miałam zamiaru
epatować was 100 razy powtórzonym Nostradamuem. To wypadek przy pracy.

Ręka Boska, że Nostradamus nie zawsze miał racje.

Komentatorzy Nostradamusa czterowiersz 97 z Centurii VI tłumaczą jako atak
atomowy za Stany Zjednoczone (niewykluczone, że podobne uderzenie spadnie na
Bliski Wschód)w wyniku którego Nowy Jork zostanie całkowicie zniszczony.

Zawsze znajdowali sie amatorzy interpretacji Nostradamusa. Raz wiezowce Nowego
Yorku mialy runac na skutek trzesienia ziemi. Inni, jak Rene Noorbergen w
swojej ksiazce "Nostradamus" wydanej juz wielokrotnie w USA (po raz pierwszy w
1981), interpretuja owa katastrofe nastepujaco:

Jak wiec widac interpretacja autora wybiega dosyc daleko od oryginalnego tekstu
(zakladam, ze jest on oryginalny). Nie ma tu mowy o zadnym ataku lotniczym na
Manhattan lecz o detonacji jakiejs broni masowego razenia w atmosferze przez
Chinczykow w okresie kiedy Francja walczy o swe przetrwanie. Ksiazka ta
inerpretuje proroctwa Nostradamusa jako zapowiedz wojny pomiedzy Wschodem a
Zachodem (Chiny i Arabowie kontra reszta swiata). Nie chce tu opisywac co
ewentualnie mialoby sie zdaniem autora interpretacji wydarzyc ale podam chociaz
kilka przykladow :
Jednym z uczestnikow tej wojny jest juz nieistniejacy (czyzby mial sie
odrodzic?) Zwiazek Radziecki.

Polska i NRD (nastepny duch) mialyby zdradzic Zachod i przylaczyc sie
do strony przeciwnej. A szkoda bo ...

Zachod ma te wojne wygrac (zakonczenie w Iranie).
