what does the english ministrant mean in polish? it surely
isn't "ministrant", although the context is still religious/church one - the
ministrants of the Sistine Chapel. something like zarządca or administrator
comes to my mind but I'm not sure. Please help, if you can.

question carefully. i'm not asking how to say "ministrant" in english, but what
does the english word ministrant mean in polish.

for translation. i may know what they do, but still not know how to say that in
polish.
so, can anyone try and help me how to translate the english word "ministrant"
into polish? i'll be much obliged.

Depends on the context I suppose but 'pomocnik' would cover most as it is,
after all, somebody who does/performs ministrations... The word is extremely
rarely used in English anyway.

guess what? i am aware of it... that's why i need help. pomocnik doesn't
really fit in here. i gave you the context - it's about the ministrants of the
sistine chapel. here is the whole sentence: "Nothing could be too noble, too
beautiful, too powerful for decorating it. The heart and soul of its
ministrants, its clergy, its faithful were to be glorified to the gratest
possible extent". Any suggestions...?

Bo jedna kategoria to wierni, druga kler a trzecia... hmm... patrz wyzej..?

choć wg definicji to mi najlepiej pasuje jakis administrator, zarządzający, ale
jak to kurna po kościelnemu.

Dobrzy samarytanie, kółko różańcowe. Generalnie ministrants to ludzie którzy
poomagają innym, w tym kontekście jakaś grupa wsparcia lokalnego proboszcza.
Jeśli potrzebujesz jedno słowo, to pomocnik jest chyba najlepszy. Ministrant
(po ang.) nie musi mieć nic wspólnego z religią.
