why Poleyanks mostly?

IP: *.abo.wanadoo.fr 12.11.02, 11:14
Hello,
having visited this forum for a while now, I come to the conclusion that the
majority of 'foreign' contributors here are the Poles livin' in the USA. Is
it, because:

- USA is where the most of 'us' emigrated to;
- access to the internet is more widespread than elsewhere;
- 'missing the "ole country"' feels most intense;
- pressure of living calls for a 'safety valve': the need to 'patronize' your
fellow countrymen ?

      No, not at all.
      I've seen plenty of other Polonuts round here.

        We are talking 'foreign'only Poles contributing here, mishy. I think the
        Poleyanks are clear majority. And I didn't mean it in any disparaging way. Stop
        trying to take it in the wrong direction, please.

          yes, foreign from allovertheplace.
          aussie
          yank
          kiwi
          britpoles
          yourself
          and the natives

          check out the dial-ups, but probably there is a healthy balance here
          between Polska & US contributions
          you're right.
          the diversity is what makes it fun, that's why I'm still playing here.. ;-)

          not takin't the wrong way at all

          you're a cruel, unfeeling thug Mr.Shorts. a forum thug!

          how do you see this Poleyank? a huddled, sullen mass sheltering behind pale
          blue aluminium clapboard, somewhere unpleasant on the East Coast, searching and
          poking a grubby keyboard with a grubby finger.

            No, I am not! I am a kind, modest, God fearing regular Scout leader who likes
            to earn many Brownie points. Even my semi-automatic is not loaded...Not really,

            Don't be silly, they all are like "Dead Poets Society" charcters, lovely,

      It also might be that you have awed them into silence by your stunning
      performances. You - obviously I mean Poleyanks.

      But seriously, most people here don't say anything unless they are absolutely
      sure their grammar, spelling and punctuation are absolutely correct.
      In other words, unfortunately, they care more about how they say something then
      what they say.

            I've never heard the kind of anglopolonetics displayed here in real life, but
            what the hell..it is a new language in making.

              The gentelmen pursuing serious gueries on 'knowing' are getting annoyed, and
              quite rightly, so I decided to answer you inquiries here, erwas. You don't
              mind, do you?
              ...a)broad outline, b)dramatic instances and c)underlying forces that drove me
              to become the chickenShorts that I am :
              a) self-observation in b) on-line squabbles with you, among others, resulting
              in c) self-identification; probably somethig that drives you to want to be what
              you are not- a hitman, for instance.
              You can read this watching a video of Forrest Gump and you'll have a
