The table below presents the rates and the reasons for injuries for teenage
girls and boys, and for total population in Australia.
The group which is the most exposed for a variety injuries are boys between
13-19. The rate af accidents happened to this group is equal to the amount of
accidents for general population in Australia.
A huge number of teenages became injuries in a variety transport accidents,
boys however are twice more often injuried than girls at the same age.
Falls are one of the main reasons for injuries for teenage male, however
ralatively rare for teenage girls whch is 720 and 193 respectively.
We can see a similar pattern for injuries after assaults, where the rate of
male hospitalisation is more than three times higher taan female's at the
same age.
In the other hand all teenage are not likely to have a complication after
medical care, in coparison witch total population the rate was 4 times lower.
