"Stella Awards" 2002 - pierwsze miejsce przypadlo niejakiemu panu
M.Grazinskiemu.

Dla niewtajemniczonych - "Stella Award" wywodzi sie od pani Stelli Liebeck,
ktora iles tam lat temu wylala sobie goraca kawe na lono w wyniku czego
doznala lekkiego poparzenia. Pani Stella zaskarzyla McDonald's i sprawe
wygrala ....???? bo kawa byla za goraca i McDonald jej nie ostrzegl. Tak
wiec nagroda ta jest drwina z durnego systemu, ktory dopuszcza tego typu
frywolne sprawy, z durnych sedziow i imbecyli
jurorow.

Powracajac do naszego pana Grazinskiego, otoz ow pan, zamieszkaly w Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma, stal sie dumnym posiadaczem nowiusienkiego 32-stopowego
Winnebago motor home (RV). W czasie dziewiczego wojazu pan Grazinski, jadac
autostrada, wlaczyl sobie "cruise control" na 70 mil/godz (okolo 115 km/godz)
i spokojniutko odszedl od kierownicy !!!!? Pogwizdujac udal sie do czesci
kuchennej pojazdu by sobie zrobic kawe.

Oczywiscie pech chcial, ze pojazd zjechal z autostrady, walnal w przeszkode,
przewrocil sie i ... rozbil.

Historia na tym jednak sie nie konczy. Pan Grazinski wniosl sprawe do sadu
przeciwko kompanii Winnebago motywujac pozew tym, ze instrukcja obslugi
pojazdu NIE ZABRANIALA mu czegos takiego zrobic.

O dziwo glupota pana Grazinskiego zostala solidnie nagrodzona. Wygral sprawe
a jurorzy, w poczuciu dobrze spelnionego obowiazku, przyznali mu $1,750,000
odszkodowanie i .... nowy motor home!!!!!

Dla niewtajemniczonych - z powodu tegoz wydarzenia producenci RVs dokonali
zmian w tresci swoich instrukcji obslugi pojazdu z mysla o kompletnych
moronach zasiadajacych za kierownica i .... powtarzajacych sie procesach
sadowych.

Tak wiec jesli otworzysz swoj RV manual i czytasz informacje, ktore wydaja
ci sie durne pamietaj o panu Grazinskim.

(1982, Texas) At the Amarillo Fairgrounds, some buildings were in need of a
coat of paint, so local contractors were hired to do the job.
Between the buildings was an angled alley with a culvert in the middle,
designed to drain rainwater away from the buildings. Because of the slope, the
wheeled painter scaffolding tended to roll downhill, so the painters removed
the wheels on the scaffolding. They were in the process of moving the
scaffolding next to a building, when the metal structure met a transformer. The
painters were killed.

The story made the headlines. The town was abuzz with talk of the tragedy, how
it had come to pass, and whether the city was liable for damages. The city
officials decided they needed to conduct an investigation.

With much fanfare, they arrived at the scene of the incident, prepared to
personally recreate the circumstances. Two officials grabbed the scaffolding in
the exact same location as the two painters, began to move the scaffolding...
and were promptly electrocuted.
