Carers w Southampton i Basingstoke

We require 20 carers to join our team in Southampton and a few carers based in Basingstoke.
Workers must have good English language skills and caring natures.
They would need to be able to provide a CRB check or pay for one (this is refunded after six months work has been completed), we provide all training as well as a two day induction programme.
Caring nature is more important than experience as we provide full training in our Southampton office.
Hourly pay is between £7.40 and £11.10 per hour dependent on what days / hours are worked, holiday pay is added on top of this amount 28 days paid holiday per year.

Working hours: 8 hours per day (any hours between 0700 and 2200), shift pattern is 11 days in any 14 working days
Drivers are much preferred (ideally with their own transport) as they will be more employable

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· To provide support that respects their dignity and choice
· Promote and assist them to maintain independent living
· Assist with personal care i.e.washing/bathing dressing and toileting
· Assist with moving and handling (you are not expected to lift sevice users)
· Cooking meals, making drinks and assisting with feeding in accordance with dietary, religious, or cultuaral requirements.
· Light household duties, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning work surfaces and floors etc
· To read care plans at the clients home and complete log sheets fully and correctly
