Position: Business Development Manager
The company: a producer and re-seller of arts and crafts, mainly Christmas
and other seasonal decorations.
Location: London Elephant & Castle.
Position: Business Development Manager. This person must be 100% fluent in
English, written and spoken.
Polish speaker is essential as we have a joint venture with several factories
in Poland and the person would need to deal with Polish non-English speakers
in Poland on a daily basis. The job involves developing our export business
(already 26% of sales) and developing our new and successful diversification
into designer home products. We have customers like Harrods and their
equivalents overseas.
The right person will have around 5-10 years experience as a manager of a
medium-sized company. They will ideally ( but not essential) have some
experience of design and working with designers - as well as general
experience of the commercial aspects of business - sales, distribution,
purchasing. A "proven record of management". Salary will be very good with
incentives - a serious manager's salary, in other words.
