Your Responsibilities:
This role will be an integral part of Clients growing Engineering team and a part of an international team. You will be responsible for continuously improving the user experience. The main focus is conceiving and modeling user interface prototypes based on high level feature requirements. The Senior UI Developer will be expected to liaise with customers and partners at all levels, product owners, developers, test engineers and stakeholders.
Essential Tasks:
- develop reusable UI components that addresses Client’s customer requirements and business needs
- collaborate with product owners, developers and test engineers at release and sprint levels
- code and debug user interfaces using suitable technologies
- actively participate in requirements reviews, and architecture/design meetings
- present and conduct reviews of user interface designs with product owners and stakeholders
- take over leadership and mentorship for other UI developers who are part of the team

Your Profile: You will fit in perfectly if you
- successfully completed a higher degree in Computer Science (MSc or at least BSc) or a comparable education
- have at least 4 years of relevant experience in web based user interface development
- are an expert in web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript including thorough knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues
- are experienced with integrating the front-end with server side technologies (PHP)
- have excellent knowledge of code decoupling in the form of JavaScript MVC frameworks and template languages
- are familiar with a modern JavaScript tools like, RequireJS, Bower, Grunt, Node.js or similar technologies
- have experience with TDD
- have deep YUI3 knowledge including YUI Testing Framework
- are experienced with Symfony2 and Twig, and functional testing (BDD, Behat,…)
- have knowledge about continuous deployment (e.g Chef)
