"US beauty company Coty is introducing Look, a new women’s fragrance
for the Vera Wang brand. Slated to arrive in the US in November, the
launch inaugurates a new pillar created in synergy with the
designer’s ready-to-wear fashion collection, and also coincides with
the opening of the designer’s new store this fall in SoHo, New York
City.

“The first Vera Wang fragrance launched in 2002 generated $30m. With
Princess, we tripled our business. Look is another step in growing
the brand,” Coty Prestige senior vice president American fragrances
Catherine Walsh explains to CosmeticNews.

“It was a very good time to evolve the fashion pillar, after the
bridal [fragrance] and lavender [Princess franchise targeting young
women] one,” Vera Wang comments.

Concocted by perfumer Annie Buzantian of Firmenich, the floral scent
has watery accords with top notes of lychee and apple, a floral
bouquet of lily, freesia and jasmine, plus notes of oakmoss and
patchouli.

The prism-shaped bottle is also inspired by Vera Wang’s ready-to-
wear collection. The collection includes a parfum elixir (30ml
$300), an EdP spray (30ml $45; 50ml $70; 100ml $90), Sheer body
lotion (200ml $50), Velvet body cream (200ml $85) and Satin shower
cream (200ml $45).
