W najblizsza niedziele wybieram sie do Bostonu z kolezanka. Zastanawiam sie,
jak ulozyc plan dnia, zeby jak najwiecej zobaczyc. Chcialabym zwiedzic
przynajmniej te najwazniejsze atrakcje.

Bede wdzieczna za wszelkie wskazowki insiderow.

Jezeli tylko jest jeden dzien, to spacer po Freedom Trial. Zaczyna sie w parku
Boston Common od budyneczku informacji turystycznej. Tam tez mozna pobrac mapki
i broszurki z objasnieniami. Trzeba podazac, idac wzdluz czerwonej linii
wymalowanej na chodnikach.
Calosc zajmie Ci caly dzien.

Niebieski szlak na mapie od Oberzyswiata jest w starej wspanialej dzielnicy
Beacon Hill. Ja pomieszkiwalam na Mt Vernon Str. w trakcie pobytow w Bostonie,
mam duzy sentyment do miejsca.

Dobra, Ela, ale sciezka Freedom Trail jest na mapce oznaczona na czerwono
(podobnym kolorem jest pomalowany pas na chodnikach w Bostonie).
Wzdluz sciezki Freedom Trail jest wiekszosc historycznych atrakcji miasta z
czasow organizowanej tam wojny o niepodleglosc Stanow od W. Brytanii, np.
miejsce masakry, Faneouil Hall, dom P. Revere, stary cmentarz, Old North
Church, etc.
To wlasnie pisalem o tej sciezce w poprzednim wpisie.

Chcialabym podziekowac za wskazowki dotyczace zwiedzania Bostonu.

Bylysmy tam wczoraj z kolezanka. Obejrzalysmy wszystko, co sobie wczesniej
zaplanowalysmy mimo ulewnego deszczu, ktory doskwieral nam praktycznie przez
caly dzien.

Zaczelysmy od spaceru po Freedom Trail zgodnie ze wskazowkami Oberzyswiata. Po
drodze zwiedzalysmy USS Constitution. Lalo jak z cebra. Wyobrazalysmy sobie, ze
tak wlasnie czuli sie marynarze podczas szturmu.

Potem przejechalysmy metrem na Harvard Square i stamtad pieszo zwiedzalysmy
Harvard University, MIT, potem Back Bay, zeby trase zakonczyc tam gdzie
rozpoczelysmy, czyli w Public Garden.

Swoja droga, czy ktos wie, jakie firmy maja siedzibe w John Hancock Building
lub gdzie to mozna sprawdzic?

Nie przejmuj sie ta pogoda w Bostonie! Podczas mego tam pobytu aura byla
podobna w ostatni dzien (to podobno tam standard)- przemoklem do suchej nitki i
potem suszylem sie w slynnym pubie "Cheers" opodal Faneuil Hall, zapijajac
piwkiem Boston Lager z browaru Sama Adams'a.
Gratulacje za wytrwalosc i kondycje fizyczna, zeby obleciec tak dluga sciezke W
JEDEN DZIEN! :-) Ja potrzebowalem na to trzy dni, ale zagladalem w kazda mysia
dziure, takze na pokladzie i pod nim w USS "Constitution".

Ciesze sie, ze moglem byc Ci pomocnym.

Pod poklad USS Constitution szlysmy z nadzieja, ze bedzie tam sucho. Niestety.
Kaluze nie gorsze niz na zewnatrz i wszedzie kapalo. Nawet marynarze byli
niezbyt skorzy do pogawedek.

Zastanawiam sie nad pojechaniem jeszcze raz w ciagu najblizszych kilku tygodni.
(Zeby zrobic kilka zdjec bez parasola ;) ).

PS. Trasa spaceru zajela nam 8 godzin (wlacznie z dojsciem od i do stacji i
kilkoma przerwami w kafejkach, tudziez obiadem w Quincy Market).
