Thanks for the link; I had no idea such services were available in Poland and
I’m happy to see that they are. I’m concerned about the environment and like
many young people I’d be willing to pay more for energy knowing that I am, in a
small way, helping out the environment.

      I have a few questions:

      - does Quest Energy provide any services or consulting with regards to farming
ethanol plants? Are there any facilities in Poland that would buy the crops?
      What’s the situation?
      - As for small water turbines, do you provide the design or actually build and
      install them?
      - are LED-based light bulbs available in Poland? (e.g., Crane 60-LED?) They’re
super expensive, but they’ll last you 10 years running 8 hours a day.

I live in Montreal right now, and am about to move to Copenhagen. Both
countries are very environmentally conscious (at least at the grassroots level)
in the sense that most folks recycle, municipal governments facilitate compost
making even in apartment buildings, there are numerous and powerful
environmental lobbying organizations and the Green Party may actually finally
make it to the CDN Parliament in the near future.

I find that the perception of “Green people” has changed in recent years.
Environmental activists have been blowing the horn for many, many years, but
it’s only recently, once viable solutions have finally made it to the market
place, that they are finally listening. Solar panes and other renewable sources
of energy are becoming more affordable. It’s slowly becoming trendy to be green.

What’s the situation in Poland? Are people receptive or do they feel like they
have bigger problems to deal with than global warming?

Looking forward to reading more…. I’ve posted on the environment here before,
but the topic has never really picked up on this forum. Perhaps you should
start your own… but wait…you have one.
